How to Apply Bridal Eye Makeup Perfectly

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

Your bridal makeup defines your wedding day, the most important day of your life. There's a lot of pressure to look perfect and we are here to guide you with the best eye make-up to let your eyes do the talking.

Below are listed the steps that will make your eyes sparkle bright without no fuss.

· Get your eyebrows plucked and thread a day ahead of the wedding so you do not appear on the aisle with redness and visible irritation to spoil your wedding makeup.

· Make sure you are well slept to avoid any eye bags and dark circles. Relax your mind with a good 8 hour sleep to look refreshed.

· Keep handy the following products so you don't have to run around and sweat in your gorgeous wedding outfit. Set a table with tissues, foundations, concealers, Q-tip brushes, Eyeshadow Brushes, Eye liner, Mascara, Eye lash Curler, Kohl Pencil and the hero, Eye shadow palettes.

· Clean your eyelids and the area outside the eye to remove any remaining residue or sweat stain. Moisturize your face thoroughly after cleansing. Begin with a primer to keep your makeup long lasting and not crack. Blend in the foundation that matches your skin tone and apply it all over your face and neck using a makeup blender or foundation brush.

· Apply a concealer on your eyelid to provide a base for your eyeshadow to stay longer and pop up well. Use an under eye concealer that matches your skin to hide any dark circles or dark spots for a flawless tone throughout your face and neck.

· Choose an eye color that matches or compliments your outfit. You could also go for nudes and beiges that suit all attires and colors. Use a high quality blending brush and blend your eyeshadow over the lid, above the crease. Ideally, you should move the brush from the inside of your eye lids to the outside in a windshield motion.

· You can apply a second color for a 3D makeup for brides look starting from the middle of the lid and stroke it towards the outer corner of your eyes for a double toned eye shadow look. Blend in well so both the colors create a uniform look.

· Apply the kohl on your lower lash line to make your eyes look sharper. You can also use the kohl to tight line your inner upper lash line.

· Time for eyeliner. Keeping your hands steady, draw your eyeliner from the inner corner of your eyes and drag it to the outer corner. You can also use the dotting method. All you need to do is dot your lash line with the eyeliner and then connect them using the same eyeliner brush to achieve a flawless eyeliner look. Depending upon the look you want, you can also draw a winged eyeliner by simply drawing beyond your lash line all the way up towards your eyebrow bone.

· Apply a coat of mascara after your eyeliner has dried to make your lashes flutter fine. Use a moderately heated eyelash curler after the mascara dries to shape your lashes. You can also use false eyelashes to create a more voluminous look. For a glam look, you can use a little dot of highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bone to shape your face.

· To finish, use a makeup spray to keep your eye makeup smudge free. Make sure your eyes are closed and your eyes don't come in contact with the spray. Voila, you're done to rock your wedding look with glamour and precision.
